Alternating Split Squat

  • Stand with feet hip width apart.
  • Step back with your left leg approximately 2 feet standing on the ball of your back foot.
  • Feet should be positioned at a staggered stance with the head and back erect and straight in a neutral position.
  • Place your hands on your waist.
  • Lower your body by bending at the right hip and knee until your thigh is parallel to the floor then immediately explode vertically.
  • Switch feet in the air so that the back foot lands forward and vice versa.
  • Repeat in a smooth, rhythmical motion.
